Why we started Dailees
The name comes from film "dailies", the footage a crew reviews at the end of every shooting day. That's the idea behind the studio: fresh, well-made cuts, every day, for the people who make the stories.
Short-form is now where audiences discover podcasts, comedians and films. Most clipping services treat that as a volume game. We treat it as editing: finding the moment, pacing the hook and framing it like it matters.
We use AI where it makes us faster and better, and people where judgement matters. Real shoots with our production partner, Luminary Studios, give us footage AI can't fake, and AI lets us extend it into far more than a single shoot could.
